Chronos CA runs on your Windows machine. Your notices never touch our servers except for OCR, and you control which OCR provider — Tesseract locally, Gemini Vision only if you choose. We don’t have telemetry on notice contents. We never see your clients’ data.

Local-first by design.

Your data lives in SQLite on your machine. We never see it. PDFs delete from temp on accept. Retention rules you control.

Confidence at every field.

Green / amber / red chips on each extracted value. Edit-then-accept shows a diff before it commits. You’re never guessing.

Reminders where you actually look.

Tiered Telegram alerts at 1 week / 1 day / 1 hour to your own bot — you hold the token. Per-authority cadences.

State machines you can trust.

Each notice has a reply lifecycle (pending → reminded → deadline-passed → closed / extended) and an independent hearing lifecycle. Nothing slips silently.

What happens if Chronomation shuts down?

Chronos CA is a desktop app. If we disappear tomorrow:

  • Your installed copy keeps working — it’s on your machine, not our server.
  • Your data stays accessible — SQLite file, Google Calendar, Google Sheet, Telegram. We don’t hold any of it.
  • We will publish source for the desktop client to a public repository under a permissive license. This commitment is in your contract.
  • We escrow the build pipeline with a third party so auto-update keeps working for 12 months post-wind-down.

We’re not planning to shut down. We’re planning so you don’t have to worry if we ever do.

What we see

Nothing. No telemetry on notice contents. Crash reports redact PII before transmission, opt-out available.

Stored in Windows Credential Manager (keytar). Never in plaintext config files.
